Early evening on a nearby farm, and the cotton was an irresistible painting subject to me! The seemingly calm scene belies the chaos on closer inspection! So many textures, so many colors, and so much vegetation springing up here and there! Cotton fields are still a bit of an oddity to this Brit and I love seeing it up close, - the cotton bolls really do look like cotton balls!
